National Reptile Breeders Expo
The National Reptile Breeders Expo will host the 2nd Gold Standard Gecko Club Competition in Florida! We are excited to announce the launch of our Gecko Registry and the opening of registration for 2026
We’re opening the Gold Standard Gecko Club competition to ANY gecko you own, it no longer has to be produced by you.
That means you can finally enter your best gecko, whether it’s your own production or a favorite purchase from another breeder.
If you’re new to breeding and don’t have animals you’ve produced yet, you can still compete by entering the strongest gecko in your collection.
Eligibility:
Registered online with Gold Standard Gecko Club (click here)
18+ months old (New Caledonian geckos)
40g or more (35g+ for tail-less)
Healthy and robust
Prizes & Exposure: Winners in each category receive prizes and marketing through Gold Standard Gecko Club & TikisGeckos.

The Gargoyle Gecko Gold Standard.
We have formed our gargoyle gecko standard in hopes that breeders across the world will start to use it as a guide when deciding on how they will breed their prized geckos. Often times we overlook body and cranial structure in search of only the brighest colors, this is a mistake. We want to encourage the breeding of robust and healthy animals FIRST before we look at color and pattern.
